Physicist: This barrier is overcome when the work group members share passion for the work and share humility to know that individual work is part of a big picture and might even be wrong.
Historian: Fear of being wrong can be a barrier to fully embracing difference.
Physicist: That fear barrier is overcome when the work group members share the knowledge that being "wrong" is useful, to be encouraged not feared. By being "wrong" members at least teach about something which needs better understanding or a problem which needs to be resolved or avoided.
