ESA Swarm satellites
Some good resources

Historian: The European Space Agency "Observing Earth" site (linked to below) is well organized and full of interesting information. For example, the 19 Dec 2016 entry about discovery of a "jet stream" in our iron core by ESA's Swarm satellites is especially interesting. The Swarm satellites are able to get very detailed data about our magnetic fields, even measuring magnetic signals from ocean tides.

Physicist: Another good site is the American Astronomical Society site and their news site both linked to below. Both are also nicely organized and full of interesting information. For example, the 30 Dec 2016 post on the news site about finding nearly a thousand galaxies hiding behind the Milky Way is fascinating and might solve a mystery.
